The Malaysian Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) together with Licensing Executives Society (LES) of the Malaysian Chapter is co-hosting a one-day MTDC-LES Malaysia Seminar on 7 May at Kuala Lumpur, covering several significant aspects in the whole process of Intellectual Property commercialisation. The theme of the seminar is “Public-Private Collaborations?

The Licensing Executives Society (LES)is a non-profit professional society that has an interest in the transfer of technology, or licensing of intellectual property rights ?from technical know how and patented inventions to software, copyright and trademarks.

Dr Patrick O’Reilley, the President of Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) will be presenting and imparting his invaluable knowledge on technology licensing at the Seminar. The topics to be covered include Collaboration between Industry and Universities in the United States (US), Singapore and Malaysia. The Speakers will also be presenting on Structuring Collaboration agreements in the US and Singapore.

The event will take place at Tun Rahah Grand Hall, 1st Floor Menara Yayasan Tun Razak, 200 Jalan Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur.
